In the west, lies Silithus, home to the Qiraji, trapped in their eternal prison behind the scarab walls thanks to both Anachronos and Fandral. However, the dormant Old God stirs in his slumber, slowly waking from his eternal sleep. Once more, the Qiraji stir, with the power of the Old God flowing through them, many of the Qiraji have escaped their prison, forcing the denizens of Azeroth to prepare, for war. Soon, the combined efforts of The Horde and Alliance will come together to end this blight once and for all. Our world is changing, and with that, we too must adapt to persevere. **Patch 1.9   The Gates of Ahn’Qiraj** War Effort: Alliance and Horde will work together to gather millions of supplies to aid the war front that is brewing in Silithus to launch an assault on the ancient Ahn’Qiraj Gates. Scepter of the Shifting Sands:  Let the race begin to be the first champion on the server to complete the epic quest chain spanning numerous world bosses and raids in order to ring the gong and start the 10 hour battle to open the Ahn’Qiraj gate. To the victor goes the spoils. The Ruins of Ahn’Qiraj: A new 20man raid, Battle back the forming Qiraji army to keep Silithus and Azeroth from being invaded by the ancient armies. The Temple of Ahn’Qiraj: a new 40man raid, Take the fight straight to the Ahn’Qiraj commanders deep within the world itself. Intense pre-nerf encounters. Leading up to a never before seen or completed Pre-nerf C’thun. Does your guild have what it takes to defeat this Old God?
